Hi everyone...newbee here...
My name is Brandy, female, 60 yrs old, TEXAS.

I fell at work and fracured my hip. Surgically repaired and now seems to be healed.

Still complaining of leg pain...very bad. sitting, driving, watching tv more than 20 mins is impossible. Knee weakness also... Been reporting this to Dr.'s all along.

Work comp finally approved an MRI.

Now, 8 months later, I find out I also injured my spine when I fractured my hip. I had an MRI in May, 2009 to finally reveal the suspected reason for my constant pain and limitations.

I have a L-5 S1 herniated disk and it is impingent on a nerve. SO THAT IS MY STORY

waiting for Dr appoinment with SPINAL SPECIALISTS.

Glad I found this forum.
BRANDY (Texas gal)

  • Hey there Texas gal
What kind of job did you have? That makes it miserable when you've got more than one thing going on,and the Drs don't "discover " it(even though you've been telling them all along).Let us know what your treatment will be. You'll get lots of support here, for whatever the docs decide to do with you. Have a good day, sun's gonna shine here in Nevada, makes a big difference for me! Sagehen
