My wife is going for her MRI and hand x-rays on Tuesday, it has been a long road to get to this point with her.
The doctor is just confirming his diagnosis of RA and multiple back problems. Now we can actually get her the meds she needs for pain and maybe some other treatment from a specialist. My wife is not that excited about it but I am because I know the findings will give her the chance to take the next step with treatment. I have chronic back pain as well, but my wife has it and her hands hurt her so bad all the time mostly at night, so it affects me too. I love her and when she is in pain I am as well. My goal as her husband is to get her out of pain as much as possible with the least side affects from meds and other treatment. The doctor is considering a pain clinic to adjust her meds, we are under the impression that he is not comfortable prescribing any thing stronger then what she is getting. What she takes help but there are times when they dont and she just needs relief.
The doctor gave her a new muscle relaxer "ROBAXIN" has anyone heard of this med, or does anyone know something about it? You guys have been really great with the answers to my posts and I want to thank you all.
Wish us luck!
