So we have been without insurance since the end of April, and was supposed to get insurance again July 12. I made me an appointment to see my doctor July 13. Well it is now the 17th and we yet to have insurance cards. I'm supposed to have a CT scan done today, plus I have medicine sitting at the pharmacy waiting to be picked up. I called the place on Monday, and the rude woman finally called me back on Wednesday, so I do have our group number and id number. The problem is we don't have an adress to send claims too, as the gave me their address not Encore's address. I'm so irrated with this. I mean we pay $50/week for this and can't even use it. I'm already freaking out because we have a $2500 deductible per person!! How I'm ever going to pay that I don't know.

But on the bright side, I did get a check from my disibility income insurance. So atleast I can count on that now!

  • well amanda at least you do now have the insurance. i know its a pain in the neck but you just have to be persistent. the more calls you make then eventually you get results. just keep pestering them and eventually they'll come thru.
    good luck, pete
