Can anyone recommend a good, experienced (w/ acdf) neurosurgeon in NY

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good surgeon who has done a number of successful acdf's in the NY area. Everyone says to get a good, experienced surgeon, however, I dont know anyone around here who has had this procedure done.

As I mentioned in my earlier posts, I am terrified to have this done and am afraid with my bad arm numbness, it is getting worse. I am building up bad anxiety about the procedure, the recovery, the pain, etc and need to go to someone I am very confident about.

Thanks very much, Maria

  • I had great success with my cervical fusion. There are days I forget I had it done. Google the society for neurosurgeons in your area. Then you can research from there.

    Best to you,
