Hello Good People,
I have been diagnosed with the following MRI below, I have had a recent bout lasting 10 weeks to date, I am undergoing traction treatment twice a week with Physio awaiting a Neurosurgeon appointment early November. Although the traction has helped with movement a little and pain, I am suffering a relapse of early problem in the bout such as severe fatigue, headaches, pain from daylight in my eyes and dehydration. I have maintained my appetite and eased of the MEDS as my pain isn't too bad but I still continue with shocks, tingling and numbness in my left arm and hand. Can anyone advise if this fatigue and headache problem is connected with my root nerve, bone spur issue? Also could I enquire as to how the surgeon will decide on Surgery or not and what other options there are? I cannot see the nerve ever becoming decompressed as it is now 10 weeks without clear relief.
There is movement artifact on several of the sequences. Alignment maintained but there is loss of the cervical lordosis.
There is a partial fusion of the posterior aspect of the bodies of C7 and T1. Degenerative disk disease is seen above this level.
At C5/C6 there is a broad disk osteophyte bar more prominent on the right but with narrowing of both exit formina again more prominent on the right. Canal dimensions are adequate.
At C6/C7 there is again a broad disk osteophyte bar with narrowing of both exit formina but adequate canal dimensions.
