Okay. I'm trying to be calm. I can't get hold of my mom because she is at work, same with my husband. He is working and isn't answering. He will get my message and call me though. I don't understand anything that just h appened. Pre op EKG says I may have had a mild heart attack when compared to my reading in 2002. They have an appt. at the hospital tomorrow at 1 for me to see a cardiologist. The assist to the surgeon says not to get freaked out yet. A heart attack? I'm only 41. HOw could that be? Has this happened to anyone before? The guy doing the ekg said I was trembling from pain and that one of my leads was shaking for a little while. Maybe it was a misread. Right? I also just called my Dr and informed him of what is going on. Can all of these meds I am on give a bad reading? I really don't need this right now. We are all on standby for the surgery on Wednesday until I see the cardiologist and he gives the Okay. This really can't be happening to me.
