85 year old boss loss ability to walk

my 85 year old boss"male" has loss the ability to walk,he's diabetic and has congestive heart failure.this came on all of a sudden.and he's fallen twice,we got him life alert ,because he lives alone.he goes to the va hospital and they say he fine.no mri done.please help,i feel really helpless and i love him like a father.

    By chance is he on meds for blood presure and his heart condition? If he is you might want to have that checked out. My mother-in-law fell last year because as we found out after, she was on the wrong pill for her heart. The only thing that saved her was she was taking extra thyroid pills. Nobody knew that the med they put her on slowed down her heart and the thyroid pills sped up her heart. So she thought it was her thyroid acting up but in the end she saved her own life by taking extra pills they told us. Just an idea for you to check out. Good luck
