"shocking " pain

It has been awhile since I have posted but long story short. PLIF @ L4-S1 May 2008. Fell in May 2009 using walker or wheelchair since. When I fell I slipped an artifical disc out of place and was told that fixing it could possibly paralyze me. Two nights ago I was getting into bed and my back made a popping sound. Ever since I have had what I will describe as electrical shocks down my back all over and in the front of my left leg. Had this post sudgery in the same spot in leg and was told the surgeon could have knicked my S1 or the nerve around it, but I have never had it since 5 days post op and never in mt back before. A trip to the CP didn't help at all. I have asked every nurse or doctor I can reach and no one has a clue. So I am calling out to my fellow spineys to ask you if anyone has had this type of problem before. Please help?!
