From lurker to my 1st post

Just thought it was about time I said hello to all you wonderful people. Ive been lurking around and digesting your experiences.

Ive suffered back pain for over 7 years and im 29, from the UK. Last year I had an MRI which showed L5/S1 central bulge with minimal dent into thecal sac and L4/L5 central bulge with no compression.

Well, had a caudal epidural Sept 09....OMG never again..so painful and they never offered sedation. This failed resulting in me not being able to walk and my spine felt like it was crushing.

In December 2009, I had a L5/S1 microdiscectomy and decompression, which after 12 weeks, this has not really helped although the crushing sensation has reduced.

Since the op, I feel like poo, constant painkillers, muscle relaxants.Had facet joint injection 5 weeks ago, that didnt work.

My GP is now considering a 2nd opinion with a neurosurgeon instead as I cant bend without the feeling of pulling where the incision wound is.

Anyway thats me and my hello xxx
