Wellbutrin, Tramadol, Norflex, and Savella together?

I started the Savella four or five days ago. I'm having severe stomach pain and chest pain. I take Hyomax Sl for my stomach pain and it really helps. I read the drug interactions for all my meds on Drugs.com. I'm beginning to wonder if my doctor is trying to kill me!? That must have been the drug that the rep that caused my appointment to be an hour past time was pushing that day? Anyone else taking these meds together? I'm all for trying this stuff but at what cost? I'm so discouraged these days. Sorry.

  • Savella is an SNRI. I am on an SNRI as well as Tramadol.

Wellbutrin is a dopamine reuptake inhibitor, it shouldn't interact with the serotonin issues.

No idea whether Norflex would interact with those.

Doesn't sound out there to me, but talk to your doctor or pharmacist! Savella is, I think, supposed to be similar to Cymbalta. I have been very happy with the results of the Cymbalta.

I don't know a lot about the meds but the interactions checker showed major interactions between tramadol and savella and wellbutrin. I guess it would just depend on how well it worked for the problem. Like I said before, today has just been one of those days that I wonder why I take any meds since none seem to be helping. I guess we all feel that way sometimes. I guess doctors do all they can. It just seems like they don't listen. Even my PCP was complaining that his surgeon doesn't listen to him. I bet doctors are the worst patients don't you? lol.
    Have a good evening.
  • Hmmm, yeah, I guess the tramadol/wellbutrin interaction would be the decreased seizure threshold, while the savella/tramadol would be the risk of serotonin syndrome. But the 3 don't interact together. Tramadol is just weird ;)
