Looking for spine surgeon in San Diego, Anyone?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone here have any experience with San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders? Either good or bad experiences that you could share with me? I am considering microdiscectomy on L4/5 and they are near my area.

Or do you have any recommendations for other MIS spinal surgeon in the San Diego area? I am currently unemployed(laid off). I do not have medical coverage and will have to pay out of pocket. If someone can also shed some light on the medical cost for microdiscectomy procedure?

  • Hi there...just wanted to say hello.
I believe folks will be able to respond via PM to you since we can't post specific doctors or institutions here.

When you are looking, you may want to look at key hospitals that you would be comfortable with and then look at their list of

    Orthopedic Spine doctors

Then look at their CV (resume) to ensure they focus on spine and not some other specialty (like brain, pediatrics, etc).
