what meds can I take that won't interfer with my job? I'm a truck driver. I drive anywhere from 6 to 14 hours a day. I have so far refused to take anything other than OTC meds. Still waiting for ESI.

  • Gosh there are so many different medications that you could take that would possibly help with your pain and not interfere with your ability to drive. Have you gone to the doc to discuss any of this? Depending upon what type of pain and what is causing it, the doc should be able to target it with specific meds. If he thinks there's a big problem with inflammation (hence the ESI), then has he offered to have you try some prescription NSAID's?
