I would like to say hello to everyone on the forum. I suffered from severe sciatica for over two years from a herniated L4-L5.

  • hi and welcome to the forum! :H we are here to offer you support and answer what questons we can. i have sciatica and have found the nerve pain medications to be of a big benefit.. so glad you were able to beat sciatica! did you have surgery? please tell us alittle more about yourself so we can get to know you better! all the best! Jenny :)
  • Glad you got through it. Did it heal with time or injections or surgery? I've had sciatica for 2.5 years and Cymbalta and injections are helping right now. I wish it would get better like yours. Charry
DDD of lumbar spine with sciatica to left hip,leg and foot. L4-L5 posterior disc bulge with prominent facets, L5-S1 prominent facets with a posterior osteocartilaginous bar. Mild bilateral foraminal narrowing c-spine c4-c7 RN
  • Injections did help. But the most important thing for me was stress management. I would have never believed that was it at the time but thats what it was.

I wrote a memoir about my struggles and success. If anyone is interested in my story, feel free to PM me.

I have contacted the member to determine if the memoir written are acceptable to Spine-Health. So, until we get a chance to review the information, please do not send any PM's to this member for the memoirs
