Hello all. I find myself searching SH again, so many months after ACDF recovery.

On Wednesday I had a CT Myelogram. The initial headache when the dye was shifted to my neck was a bum kicker. AFter I got home, I still had a headache when I sat up for about a day. Day 2 I was only dealing with some residual dizziness.

Here's my question. Today is Saturday - 3 days after the test. Today I'm having tingling down my legs and there is some pain in my lower back when I lay down.

Is this normal???? What could be the reason for this????

Anyone...please share your experiences.

thanks :H

  • Sorry to hear you're having to go through testing again so soon. I don't have an answer for you, but only can encourage you to contact your doctor if it gets worse this weekend or persists on Monday.

    Best wishes,

  • There is so much disappointment for me to have to deal with pain and testing again. Thank goodness for SH and the friends I made through this website. It is hard when no one around you (physically) understands what this pain is like, how no matter which way to sit or turn it doesn't go away. Added to that is the effects of the myelogram.

If this isn't improved by Monday I will definitely call the doctor. Thanks!
