neck pain c6/7

I need advice as mri scan showed slipped disc c6/7 Dec 10
on gabapentin meds 900mg a day at present for nerve pain in right arm also shoulder achy.
all not settling after rest/physio so consultant adviced surgery.
I am a self employed pilates teacher so want to return to work as soon as possible after surgery can anyone advice me please or does anybody out there suggest something else i can try before surgery.....thanks Fawn.x


  • Hi Fawn. Have you tried epidural steroid injections? Try it before you think about surgery.
