dare i say i think its becoming a success?

Hi everyone

Im now 4 weeks and 3 days into recovery from alif l5/s1 and i finally think im getting somewhere.

Ive been very strict with no blt, short walks and stretches.
Pre-op i was on mst(morphine) 60mg x2, dihydrocodeine 30mg x4, gabapentin 300mg x3, paracetamol 1g x4, diazepam 5mg as required, and lots of laxatives daily!

I now have minimal leg pain, and my back pain is REDUCING :) :) so much so, my medication now is.....get this....

Paracetamol 1g x4, Tramadol 50-100mg x4 :) :)

No more morphine, codeine and laxatives.Im only walking 1/2 mile twice a day, but so far that is my limit.

I see my surgeon in 12 days to have my 6 week check, i think he's going to be happy with my progress. i just hope im fusing.
