HI ALL!!!! First I want to say thank you to the few of you who answered my pre-op questions...now to present day!!! I had my surgery on April 18th and did so well I was home late afternoon of the 19th...I had my 2 wk check up last Monday and most of my restrictions were lifted...I still have to wear my collar when in the car...sleeping...and while exercising which for now involves a mild 1 mile walk around the neighborhood...but I'm just ecstatic to be out of the house!!! I won't lie I still have pain and some new pain and discomforts from surgery...but overall the
pain/burning/spasms that were going down the L arm have gone from a constant 8 with meds to a 5ish and I'm able to go longer in between pain med doses...I am doing so well I am able to go another 6 wks until my next check up...I have to admit I am VERY tired like my surgeon said I would be but he said I should perk up here in the next couple of weeks and to just sleep when my body wants to...it is healing I-) ...this is just a day shy of a 3 wk update...but I have to say this is the best I have felt in over 18 months!!!! Ask away with questions...as long as I get my daily walk in...I have alot of free time on my hands and since I am able to hear myself think again I would be happy to answer any concerns...I am a nurse so I knew alot about the surgery going into it...but was surprised at some of the aches and new pains that came with the surgery...take care everyone!!!
