I'm a 46 year old man with bi-lateral moderate stenosis from c-4,5,6 foraminal narrowing at multiple level and of course ddd from a skull fracture in 97' Pt made it worse, injections did not help and WANT a surgery to possibly allow me to sleep more tha 45 minutes at a time. I personally don't want to even attempt any of the "alternative therapies" I need hard proven scientific treatment. Anyone else have similar syptom's or surgery that went well? thank's Marty12

  • Welcome to SH. Wanted to wish you all the best with your upcoming nuero appointment.
I'm sure that some members with cervical issues will chime in here with there experiences. It is a very personal choice whether or not to have surgery. Others can give you their experiences, but only you will really know if it is the right decision.

I am currently awaiting a lumbar fusion, as I can no longer continue on with the quality of life that I have, as well as my high pain levels.

Wishing you all the best, and please update us on how your appointment goes!
