Look at my last post about my condition to see how I got here. But is there anyone out there with a 3 level or more lumbar fusion? I am already done at L5/S1 and may need the next two done down the road and I will then be fused from L3-S1. Arthritc stenosis is my cause. I don't see much difference in motion with my current fusion, but this would be a whole new ballgame. anyone else have this? Did it help you? doc says L1-L2 would likely be needed somewhere down the road after that and it usually stops there and does not go into thoracic levels.. True? I am 36, this succcccccks.

  • Have you done any research or asked your doctor about artificial discs?
  • but if you want lots of info on this and more then talk to bob in the forest ,he has had 10 levels done recently! and he is a nice man and a pink floyd fan!

  • I just had my L3-L4 fused 6 wks ago and was fused at the 2 lower levels 3 yrs ago. So far I'm doing good. Still in my hard brace for a few more weeks. Walking 1-2 miles daily and then resting. Did mow the yard yesterday and feel like I can do anything I was before surgery. Just ready to get back to work. The house gets smaller every week it seems. Good Luck with your choice.
