Anyone had one? Especially for arthritis/stenosis. What was outcome and how was recovery?

  • What type of entry will they be doing for the surgery anterior or posterior? The entry has a lot to do with the recovery on the surgery. Personally I had a posterior three level, but it was done after a fusion surgery. Unfortunately the nerves were already damaged so it didn't change much, but that is a unusually case. If you don't have herniation it should help you a lot I would think. Good luck and keep us posted on how you do.
  • As of now I am waiting on my MRI results but from xray it looks like arthritic stenosis, like I have in my lumbar spine, is the culprit. I asked about surgery and he said another fusion, as I am already fused at c6/7 which is why I have the arthritis, or the CF. Sounds like posterior because he said fusion would be less painful, no muscles to go through. But if I can avoid a fusion, leading to likely more arthritis and the chain reaction, I will consider it.
