I had ACDF c5-c7 done 3 years ago, for the last year and a half I have been experiencing debilitating pain in my neck and arms. My ortho kept telling me I was fused and outside of shots and pills there was nothing he could do because I was fused. Here recently I found a nerosurgeon who immediately pointed out from reading my ct scans and myelogram that I was not fused at c6-7 and that I am a canidate for a revision surgery. I am a little irritated with my previous doctor, but I am excited that I may finally get some relief.

  • Good luck with the revision surgery. I hope it resolves your issue. At least you was smart to find another dr who looked further in to finding the problem. Let us know how it turns out. Best wishes,

  • Welcome to spine health. Good for you for making your health number one and searching out another doctor.

Have you scheduled your revision surgery yet? Will you be getting another opinion before surgery?

We will be here for you cheering you on pre and post surgery. Wishing you all the best, and a solid fusion this time around.
