Hi everyone,

I have been suffering for years and have a SynchroMed II drug pump. Its very difficult for me to leave the house for maintenance of my pumnp. Does anyone have any suggestions for home infusion providers that serve in Missouri that may be able to help me?

Thank you!

  • Hi and welcome, Sorry i would not have any information on that. I am in illinois. How long have you had the pain pump and how much is it helping if i may ask?

Sorry you are still not able to get out and about enough to get the refill on the pump,

    Best wishes

  • Where are you in missouri? Look at the home health agencies through your local hospital they should be able to help you, if you are home bound. If your in a larger city and transportation is a issue, many of the municipalities have their own transportation as well as the medical transport systems. If it is financial issue, you should qualify for the med transport as medical treatment plan.
  • I wasn't quite sure exactly what you were needing but if you are homebound, can't your doctor arrange transportation for you or tell you how to go about getting to the office? How large is your pump? I have the same model and mine holds 40cc of medication. I could go in around 4 times a year for pump refills but my doctor says it's not good to let the medicine stay in the pump too long in case of it chrystalizing. Anyway, it's crucial that you keep up with your pump refill appts or any mantenance issues and I hope you are able to work something out. Take care
