I am 2 1/2 weeks Post-Op. My back is sore extremely bad all the way to the tips of my shoulder blades on both sides. my dominant hand (right) is getting tingles in my fingertips and along the side and then myarm is feeling weak and tight. Is this due to the back trying to heal as I continue to have to use that muscle and its radiating into my arm/hand? Thanks :)

  • Not sure what level they operatedmon based on your post but with my l5s1 microd, I had pain up/down my back...I found the Valium they prescribed helped. I talked to my surgeon and he said it was not uncommon to have tense muscles or irritated muscled after back surgery...

If you are getting numbness, tingling, etc. I would give your doctor a call to get their insights
