multilevel acdf surgery in future

Today is the end of the second week since I stopped smoking cold turkey. The first week went better than this past one. I have been using gum and candy to get past the horrible cravings but find that I am starting to eat more and put on weight. Anyone have any other suggestions for coping with this without gaining weight?
