So post fusion 2 years and have nerve route issues going down the neck shoulder and arm. Plus what im a bit more worried is that i have a bone spur into cord, that is causing issues into my feet and some urinary issues, infact, incontinent like. I do have an upcoming apt with neurosurgeon and i know you aren't docs, but what are your thoughts, I need some help here, its so appreciated.

  • When your symptoms involve incontinence, most likely you will have to take care of that. Have you tried epidural injections? This is just my opinion, but I think whatever is causing the cord compression has to be removed to prevent more damage.

I had similar symptoms of recurrent UTIs where I couldn't empty my bladder fully and my feet felt like foreign objects that didn't belong to my body. After surgery, those symptoms are gone. Good luck!

  • Hi Cess,

Just wishing you well on your upcoming appt. Hope the neuro has some good answers.

  • I appreciate this. I just am left with not knowing what to do... I've been through surgery once, i've done a lot of the conservative methods, like we're talking 5 years of this... im just sad about it all .
