    I have not had surgery so can't speak to that, but wanted to encourage you and welcome you to this best site ever.

    You may benefit from the articles and such and also the search on this site may take you to previous posts on your situation that may give you useful info.

    Being in pain and making these serious decisions that effect us long term...it's a lonely place.
    You can learn as much as possible, but the decision is yours.

    Look around the site and you'll see you are not alone any more!
