I am a week post op from having the anterior plate removed. The screws in the back will always stay in. I am noticed an improvment on swallowing alreay. But I actually have increased neck pain in the back. ( i broke my neck at C7/T1 in June and fused from C5 to T2) I have never not been in pain since the accident. But wondering if the plate coming out may have caused a shift.
Also both my hands have been numb since the accident and I do not see that has resolved. but I noticed yesteday my hand and forearm seemed swollen..not a ton but looks different then today I have a bunch of broken capillaries on my forearm. Any thoughts?
