Newbie Here!

I had a fusion done at C5-6 2 years ago because of a rupture. The fusion was done incorrectly and I now have a
rupture at C4 and C7.

I have had a Facet Joint Injection and Epidural Steroid Injection. Both were unsuccesfull.

The Dr. is recommending RFN.

My questions are has anyone had this done in the same area?
What was your experience?
Where can I go to get more information on this procedure?
What Dr. would you recommend in the Bay Area for this procedure?

  • Hi and welcome. If your fusion took years ago that dont mean it was not done correctly, Many cases after a fusion another level gives out because more stress on the level above and below,

I had many Rfa from my pain specialist in fhe last 8 years. Mine never worked for too long , If the other levels give out you could be looking at another surgery to fuse the other levels, Most pain specialist do the Rfa for pain control so its not a complicated procedure,

Good luck, Keep us informed how it works out for ya,
