Could sleep apnea be part of recovery from C3-C6 fusion wiht corpectomy? Wife wears the brace 24x7 which could also be a factor. Surgery was 4 weeks ago. I just noticed a little apnea in the last few days and it occurs late sleep cycle.

of cervical surgery causing sleep apnea. If you are seeing any symptoms which could be related to a sleep dis-order, I would strongly suggest having a sleep study done.

Sleep apnea is nothing to put aside. Some of the negative effects of untreated sleep apnea can and has been proven to be fatal.

Reggie White, a Former Pro Football player, died of irregular heartbeat which the cause was listed as pulmonary sarcoidosis probably caused by sleep apnea.
