I didn't go thru with the surgery but my Thoracic spine is getting more painful. I just finished with another round of PT. She tried to get my Trap. muscle to let go but she wasn't very successful. Any other ideas would be considered.
I recently had a CT with contrast of cervical and Thoracic spine. I have severe DDD of cervical and some issues in Thoracic and lumber also. I am considering a ACDF, basically 3 level. ...
The Thoracic question:
My spine feels like there is a ball at about the Thoracic/Lumber junction. Stiff in the morning then painful if sitting or standing. It is getting very uncomfortable in the afternoon. When I get home from work I take pain medication and it seems to feel a bit better. Last night not so much. I try to stretch it out by doing floor stretches and it helps some. When I read my CT report I notice "bilateral Hypertrophy" at most areas of my entire spine. I do have DISH. The area that I am feeling this pain is near T 11-12 "There is right end plate osteophytosis with narrowing of the right lateral recess." Could this be pinched nerve? or something else? What do you do to help with your pain from the Thoracic region?
Severe DDD. Klippel Feil Deformity. Cervical Foraminatomy that turned into Lamy. I have tried so many treatments, therapy's and medications.
