Hello all. I am back to let you know I had my surgery monday the 5th and I am feeling better than I have in years. I had forgotton what it was like to feel no pain. I exercised twice today, can you beleive it! I did not even have to fill my perscriptions. No meds for me, I tell you I am so happy I could cry tears of joy! Thank you to all of you for your support!!!

For thoes of you who dont know my background
I needed multi level fusion of the neck with instrumentation.
(that was the original plan)
Once he got in there he found I was worse than he thought, He had to clean all vertebre due to all nerves in my neck being swollen and also found a fracture. This added 4 hours extra to my surgery. Total tim under was 9 hours and I could not be happier with the results.

  • Donna, Congratulations on doing so well, so soon after surgery.

Great that you are already off your meds even though your surgery was more intensive than planned.

All the best with the rest of your recovery.

  • It's always so nice to hear happy endings and that many people have great news after their surgery. It makes it a little easier for those looking at a surgery maybe a little less scared and gives them more reassurance. Thanks so much for the posting, and I am truely happy for you. Congrats!!! Kevin
