Eye Pain

I had 3 herniated discs in my cervical spine C3-C4, C4-C5 and C5-C6 levels from a fall that I had decompressive laminectomy surgery for in 1996. I been having problems since the surgery but recently I have been having more headaches than usual that starts from the back of my neck and goes up into my head. At times when I look to the left, I get severe pain that goes through my eyes. My eyes ache and are sore. It was so bad yesterday that I had to go to the ER.

After checking me for glaucoma, etc. finding nothing, the doctor told me that I need to see my neurologist because my cervical spine issues could be affecting the muscles that control the eyes.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, what if anything was done or can be done about it?
