Hell My name is Shawn, I am scheduled to have ACDF c7 to t1 region. I am a lifelong musician. This pain and numbness has taken that from me, thus my decision to have surgery. How soon after will I be able to play my guitar or sing?
What about typing? I am also enrolled in school.

  • Hi Shawn,
Just saw your post and was wondering how you were doing? I had acdf C5-C6 done may 25 and I was just looking to see if I could find anything on other patients recovery time... I have still I'm a lot of pain and having trouble swallowing, not all the time but enough to really bother me. Since you are 7 weeks out I was hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel ;-) hope all is well!'
