About 18 months ago I got an inguinal hernia dead lifting with poor form. I had surgery and now it is fine. Well about 4 months ago I noticed my left trapezius muscle (same side as my hernia) looks different. It seems to be closer to my neck than my right one does. Also there seems to be very slight muscle atrophy on my left side and my right shoulder blade seems to stick out and be more pronounced than my left. I have no pain in this shoulder, except when I start lifting weights, lets say my whole body gets sore from lifting, well my left trapezius area will be more sore than the rest of my body. Also, sometimes my left ring finger will twitch ever so slightly. This is also similar in my left leg as far as slight muscle atrophy and a more pain sensitive area, but I went to the doctor today and he felt the bump in my lower back and thinks I just have a lipoma pushing it out left from my hernia. As far as my trapezius and arm situation, I can live with this condition and have no real pain in my lower or upper back except when exercising. Basically, I was wondering if anyone has had this before. Also, the doctor tested my shoulder and rotator cuff, my muscle strength in all that area is fine. Sorry for the long post and I'd appreciate any knowledge i can get.
