:H hi everybody!
i am a 34 yr old male and was happily into a family tour at snow clad hills where i fell off a berserk horse b4 20 days.

inspite of terrible back pain, local orthos gave pain killers and ruled out any serious injury. after flying back, i resumed work on diclofenac.

things got worse, went to ortho, got x rayed and was shocked to detect a T11 compression fracture (after 12 days of accident)! now i hv been with a 'Taylor's brace' and pain killers for a week. just happened to go thru this site and decided to join in.

i hv been asked to limit mobility for 4 weeks and there arent any nerve problems :))) docs are as busy as they are and dont pass on much except treatment...can anybody share what can be expected later on? can there be long term pain? ***does the T11 segment regain original shape or just consolidate in the compressed state??***
