Jan 29th 2012 I had a pretty intense injury from a MMA sparring sesssion, I ended up landing on my head from engaging in a very aggressive takedown. I ended up having a ruptured C7, with torn ligaments and muscles in my neck. According to my Surgeon I am lucky to be functioning properly and it's apparently a miracle that I went over 24 hours without going to a hospital. Now the surgery went fine from the sounds of things and I'm moving quite well. My only conern is that I'm having some pain in my left shoulder and elbow, it isn't to the degree that it's unbearable but it's there enough that I never really forget about it. I was wondering if there were any exercises or ways to alleviate it.
