Hi from Maryland!

Hey there! My name is April, I've been lurking on the site to try to get as much info as I can for my fiance. He's having cervial fusion this Thursday and he's in a mix of denial and just freaked out I think. He hasn't let me give him too many details on the surgery which worried me until he went for his pre-op and the nurse told him everything he was trying to avoid hearing, lol. So while I know it all scared him (even if he won't admit it) I was happy he knows what he needs to know now. He even had the impression that he could come home from this surgery without any pain meds?! Maybe naive is the word I should be using? Poor guy. Anyway, should you see me popping in with questions - there's my story! I can tell there's a great group of people here happy to help each other out so I can truly appreciate that.
Thanks in advance! ;)
