Hi all, I had my three month follow up with neurosurgeon on Monday October 15th and he said by this time I should be off of meds and be symptom free but obviously I am not as I still have neck pain, nerve pain that "shoots" to my extremities and muscle tightness, my left shoulder and neck are still higher then the right. The disc he replaced took away the pain and symptoms that were related to that disc Pre surgery, I told him I know he is a good surgeon and cares about his patients and I have 100% faith in him. He wants me to continue therapy and see him in three months and gave me a script for meds and said to call my primary for refills, I asked him to send a letter to my primary to explain the situation. I also stopped by my primary doctors office so they could make a copy of my scripts, I always tell my primary when I get a script from another doctor and do not try to BS him, my primary has helped me a few times with meds and believes me when I say I am in pain, for that I am grateful to my primary doctor. It is reassuring to have a doctor believe you when you say you are in pain, I'm sure most if not all here can relate. I will post if anything changes. God Bless, Joe
