Post ACDF - I swear I never feel rested

Typically I sleep between 6.5 - 7 hours. Prior to my surgery I had sleep issues from being woke up at night due to pain. I slept well enough during my initial recovery phase (most likely due to being on valium) but lately I feel as though I am getting no rest. I sleep, and I do not wake up at night but I never feel rested. It is driving me bonkers that I always feel tired. Any advice? Thanks.

History of snoring? Overweight? Been to an ENT for an exam of your soft palate and uvula? Pain waking you up?? So many thoughts .... so many doctors .... so little time. I also get about 6 hours a night and/but have none of these problems but pain.

  • I do snore, not overweight. I had a sleep diagnosis done a year ago and was told I do not have apnea but I sleep too deeply and move around quite a bit. I also have night sweats and mumble in my sleep.
