Can someone help with MRI results?

Hi, I recently received the results of an MRI. Can someone help me understand what some of this means?

It states:

Slight reversal of the normal lordotic curve.

Along the posterior body of C6 on the right posterior longitudinal ligament is slightly elevated. This has T2 bright signal beneath the ligament, which is atypical for disc material. This may represent an area of hemorrhage. There is slight cord contact by this small mass effect.

There is slight focal midline protrusion of the C4-5 with slight cord contact.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Sorry, but no one is allowed to give medical advise on this site. This includes reading test results. We are not trained and test results can be read differently by two separate doctors, let alone, untrained people on a site like this. Please have your doctor read your mri. They have the knowledge to help you.

Sorry that we can't help and I really wish you all the best with your neck.

welcome to spine health, take a look around, there is a lot of info that can help you along the way.
