i know those who work have had to deal with the lack of caring or for some people not believing you are in pain or have back issues. I talked to my principal the other day regarding work and my accommodations. here is a new one. she, my boss who is a principal, told me that the rumor going around my school is that i had numerous back surgeries because i wanted to get out of being evaluated. by the way, i had all of my surgeries after my evaluation periods and teachers get evaluated every 2 years. i guess even with insurance, the bill ran around $ 300,000.00. I had to spend form 5-12 days in the hospital and have chronic pain issues. i guess these sound like good reasons to get out of work. i just looked at her like, you have to be kidding. she was serious as julius cesar. this one was for the books. i never heard of such a stupid rumor. what is really stupid is that some people believe it. oh well. just wanted to share a goofy story with you who work and have to deal with chronic pain and other work issues.
