Ok, well I went to the Dr last Thursday for my 3 mo checkup. I did tell him about my leg pain in my right leg that goes down the front of my leg, sometimes the side, and is there constantly but stops at the knee. I have had this pain since a week after my surgery, just thinking it was my muscles that are sore, from squatting, cause I cannot bend. But for it to go on this long, there is something definitely wrong. Well they took Xrays, and the fusion still has not started, he said it is still too early for that, but he could not believe I waited this long to tell him about my leg pain. He felt terrible, and he said you are strong for waiting this long, but he wants me to get a MRI on my leg, he said it is definitly the nerves. So now that I was off of work for 2 mos, my finances are not good, I am trying to get it back on track and believe I will, it just takes time, but I cannot afford another MRI, I have insurance, but its just gonna be another bill to pay. I know I need to get it done, but not at this time. But in the meantime, he gave me a pain killer called Neorontin. My question is, has anyone taken this, and how does it effect you. Is this a bad drug? I am reading alot about it online, and it sounds like it is not good. But I would like some comments, if anyone has taken this, or is still on it. He prescribed it to me for my nerve pain in my leg. Well let me know, gotta get going. Take care all.
