I just came across this site yesterday so I thought I would introduce myself. I am a 41 year old female, married with three sons ( all adults now). I started having major back pain 8 months ago after I fell and my legs were giving out as I walked. I went to a variety of doctors for help. I finally went to an orthopedist 4 months ago who ordered an mri. we tried medicine, physical therapy, injections in the lumbar spine. The mri showed degenerative disc. I am still having problems so he sent me to a spine specialist who did xrays which showed a lot of arthritis. he mentioned more injections but in other places and that my lower back is bone on bone.
Before this fall I was pretty active but now I after I get home from work I lay down to relive the pressure on my back. sitting for long periods of time are the worst,
degenerative discs, arthritis, sciatica, bursitis, TMJ, and Fibromyalgia
pain and numbness up and down spine. Right leg is numb most of the time. Both legs give out at times.
