Can someone please help....

  • We aren't allowed to give medical opinions on this site. I suggest you call the Surgeon's office and ask for someone to explain the results for you in more detail. Sometimes surgeons can brush over things. Otherwise, you might want to see your primary care doctor and have him review the results with you. He could discuss options if you are not a surgical candidate, such as physical therapy or seeing a pain management doctor for possible medication or shots. You could also seek a second opinion from another Orthopedic or Neurosurgeon.

I went for years to pain management before I was a surgical candidate. I did get help for quite a while from these options, but eventually my spine degenerated to the point that surgery was necessary.

    Good luck.
