MRI Being cooked by one back pain worse?

I had an MRI today had them before but this one really cooked me,I got hot from inside out and my back pain is now worse now? Anyone had this happen? or know why it happend?? Was dripping wet when i got out.

    A MRI does not use radiation, rather it uses maganetic impulses. Hence the reason they make you take off any jewelry and ask if you have a cardiac stint. Being "hot" or sweating was most likely due to a vagal response. I suspect you had some anxiety. Pain can also cause these symptoms. I suspect the reason for your back pain was most likely due to lying very still for 20 minutes. I have had MRI's before as well and also suffer from a T-6 compression fracture / post surgery.
    BTW I have a backgound in Medicine. Just saying.
