Home Nurse?

I am having a posterior lumbar fusion April 12th. Anyone who had this surgery, did a nurse come to your house after you came home from hospital? When I had my 1st fusion in 2007 I had a nurse come in but it was an anterior fusion and I had a lot of complications.
DDD 2 level ALIF L3-L5 in 2007. 4/11/13 posterior fusion w/decompression on L5-S1.

  • I just had Alif L4L5S1 surgery on march 13th I spent 5 days in hospital and when I came home from hospital I had a nurse to check my vitals and change my dressings front and back for 5 visits and a therapy nurse to make sure I was moving around the right way.She came 4 times.I could of had them longer if I needed them.Good luck on your surgery. kathy
