23 years old previous lumbar surgery bad back pain Exedra

I currently had a back surgery in October. Now I am experiencing horrible pain in my hip down my right leg to my big toe my right knee & my neck. the reason I had the surgery was because my disc was herneated and pinching my sciatic nerve. They did a minimal invasive surgery and saved a part of the desk a current MRI has shown there is now a fracture in my L four a chip missing out of my L 3 and a tear in another. I have veins in my right leg that bulge when I walk for too long I am Not sure what other choices I have besides another surgery and I don't want to do that again is there any suggestions to anything I can do.

  • Regardless of past surgeries, conservative treatments should always be done before jumping into another surgery (unless it is an emergency situation obviously). Has your surgeon not suggested non-surgical options? If not, I suggest getting a second opinion. Most surgeons won't consider surgery until multiple conservative treatments have been tried and failed (again, regardless if you have had past surgeries). Plus, most great surgeons have excellent contacts for conservative treatments. Best of luck to you! Keep us informed. Welcome to our forum!
