Little by little, I feel the energy just drain away. Convinced that at this rate of speed, I will be in a wheelchair in a few weeks. MRI shows "mild" cord compression on two levels, along with 8 bulging disks (two moderate, the rest mild), pinched nerves, developmentally narrow spinal cord with very little fluid along entire length of C-spine, muscle spasms, electrical currents down my arms, back and spine, back of neck has "warm" sensation, urinary incontinence, and balance issues. Along with this I have pain in my lumbar area but MRI is normal. Not sure what to make of this, but it seems quite secondary to the other issues I am experiencing. Have had very bad luck finding a doctor, but have a promising consultation with an orthopedic surgeon on Wednesday. My PT feels this was an urgent matter two months ago, but haven't been properly treated by neurologist or surgeon. Feel abandoned by the medical field and am just out here fading away. This weakness in my legs, I hear it is not common with cervical problems. Yet it appeared not long after my MVA, so I must think it is related. Does anyone have any thoughts about this?
