My SCS trial coming soon!

My doctor's office finally submitted my paperwork for SCS trial. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. Is there anything I should or shouldn't do after my procedure. How are the restrictions? My PM doctor did tell me to go to the gym after 3 days of having the trial in place. Is this normal? I told him I want to exercise cause I need to lose weight. He pretty much told me to do anything I wanted after the third day.
Discectomies 05/08 and 04/11, fusions L4-5 Feb 9,2012 and L3-L4 June 28,2012, Staph infection washout 3/2/2012, Bulged L5-S1. SCS trial on January 17th, 2014, which was a success! Permanent SCS on February 20th.

You don't want to lift anything to heavy of anything at weird angles. I would also avoid putting your arms above your head except for personal care (showering, dressing). Good luck with the trial!
