My husband has been diagnosed with cervical spinal stenosis with myelopathy. On top of that he has diabetic neuropathy. He had a C6- C7 fusion done 30 years ago, and now their going to take out C4- C5, maybe C3, put in spacers fuse them together, and fuse them to the fusion he already has. We see the neurosurgeon in 2 days to schedule surgery, were both very scared, we don't know which of his systems are from the spinal problems, and which ones are from the neuropathy. Does anybody have any insight into this??
